The session then describes how to leverage these capabilities to maximum effect in a legally robust manner. The audience will learn these advanced investigative solutions are far more accessible and affordable than they believe.
Specifically, the session seeks to educate the attendee on the four main disciplines of private intelligence gathering: Open Source Intelligence, Geospatial Intelligence, Signals Intelligence and Human Intelligence. By utilizing a more diverse set of tools, the end-user can help their organization deliver a more compelling defense against high-value litigation and threats.
Garrett McGinn is the Director of DigiStream's Research and Development Division and has over 18 years of experience in the private investigative industry. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a licensed California Private Investigator. He holds a Master's Degree in Transatlantic Relations from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the University of California, Davis. Garrett trained in advanced surveillance tactics in the United Kingdom, achieving a Level III Advanced Award in Foot & Mobile Surveillance in 2007. Prior to his employment with DigiStream in 2006, Garrett was a Research Analyst for Glass, Lewis & Co., an institutional investment advisory firm.
Jay Ochal is the Investigative Consultant for DigiStream's Miami affiliate and has five years of experience within the company. In this role, he oversees the business's day-to-day operations throughout southeast Florida. Before relocating to the greater Miami area, Jay was the Evidence Manager in DigiStream's Tampa office where he supervised the affiliate's production of services into the varying deliverables for their clients. Prior to working in the private investigative industry, Jay was a private contractor for the United States military, working closely with the MICC at installations along the east coast to coordinate and provide supplies and services.
