This will be a one hour Ethics CEU presentation focusing on ethical behavior and bias. In an amusing way, this presentation teases out the most frequent kinds of bias, discusses why we have bias, and teaches the participant to recognize and respond to both internal and external bias.
This CEU also aims to address how Case Managers and Adjusters can increase their ability to
♦ Respect the rights and inherent dignity of their clients,
♦ Maintain objectivity in their relationships with clients, and
♦ Act with integrity and fidelity with clients and others.
By the end of this presentation, the participant will be able to identify how and why bias exists, and will understand the most common types of bias. Students of this presentation will gain guidance on how to evaluate and assess their own biases. Take-aways from this course will include tools on how to improve objectivity.
