COVID-19 Statement

COVID-19 Statement and Chapter Update

March 18, 2021

To our chapter Members and Friends,

Our chapter leadership hopes that you and your family are weathering the COVID-19 situation well.  This is our latest update regarding our chapter activities.

  • Chapter leadership continues to meet electronically and we will continue to update everyone regarding special virtual events.  We continue to schedule video events that will allow our regular chapter meetings to continue and for everyone to get together for a bit and see each other virtually, while also viewing a special presentation.

  • We've had great virtual meetings, and look forward to our new special presentations.
We are taking a break in April (everyone is getting Zoomed out) and will gather virtually once again in May for a special event!
Keep our future events on your calendar, and we'll update you as quickly as possible via email and on our website.  Just a reminder that all of our upcoming events are found on our website under the Meetings/Events tab.

  • Our future events calendar is very fluid right now, and may change month to month.  Stay in touch with us and check our website regularly for updates.

  • We will resume live meetings and events when it is safe to do so, and the venue is allowed to operate without such tight capacity restrictions.

Just a reminder that great resources related to COVID-19 may be found at the RIMS website below, and you should also check the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) websites for updated advice:

We encourage all of our membership and friends to be proactive in following the common sense advice to prevent illness and avoid exposure to the virus, and guidance provided by the CDC and the Florida Department of Health.  Remain calm and focused on our role in Risk Management.

Stay safe and healthy!
