This presentation will educate risk and insurance industry professionals on how to mitigate their claims using evidence obtained from their investigative vendor.
Investigative technologies will be discussed of overt and covert physical surveillance methodology to understand how to handle each claim. With substantial evidence, it will be your duty to mitigate your claims. Learn the investigative tools and technologies to help you do just that!
Don Blair, President and Owner of Claims Investigation Agency
Don has been in the investigation field for over 30 years. Don grew up traveling the United States before settling down in South Florida at the age of 15. After receiving his Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice, Don joined the DEA during the Cocaine Cowboy Era. His success in undercover assignments within a specialized unit (SOD) enabled him and his unit to track down numerous drug busts and infiltrate high end street narcotic organizations. The unit, referred to as the Special Operations Division (SOD), is built with agents from two dozen partner agencies, including FBI, CIA, NSA, IMPACT, Centac 26, Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Homeland Security. During a drug bust, Don was injured during the execution of an arrest. After the injury, Mr. Blair was later invited to join the private sector of investigations and began with Claims Investigation Agency in the late 80s. Don went on to become the SIU Supervisor of Gallagher Basset Insurance Company. A few years later, Don purchased the first investigation company he ever worked at, Claims Investigation Agency.
Anailis Diaz, Marketing Director for Claims Investigation Agency
Anailis has been working in the field for over 7 years. She grew up in south Florida before venturing off to do her undergrad at Virginia Tech. She graduated with a dual degree from Virginia Tech studying Journalism and political science. She later obtained a Global MBA. Anailis joined Don after her journalism career at CBS Miami. She is a licensed private investigator in the state of Florida.
